Description
Meet the Christmas Star Bag — a five-point star bag in soft sage green with red-and-white striped straps, finished with hand-crocheted Christmas appliques: a Christmas tree, gingerbread figure, candy cane, gift boxes, little stars, bows, and bells (hide a real tiny bell inside one, so it rings!).
The bag body is worked as two star panels from the included chart, joined with a straight top edge, then lined and closed with a magnetic snap.
Finished size: star body approx. 23 cm (9 in) across; approx. 41 cm (16.1 in) total height including straps. Size will vary with yarn and tension.

You will need: 5-ply yarn: sage green and white (body, held double); red, white, dark green, yellow, brown; small amount of gold yarn. Crochet hooks: 3.5 mm (body), 3.0 mm (appliques and straps), 2.0 mm (tiny tree star). White lining fabric, one sew-on magnetic snap. Yarn needle, sewing needle and thread, scissors. Optional: one tiny real bell.
